Sestina: Magic

As a light in the abyss of the stage.
He appears.
One hand empty,
One hand with a rabbit.
He says a word,
The mysterious animal disappears.

His hands are so amazing,
They manipulate time.
Within a single blink.
The rabbit reappears.
With a decorative cloth.
Embellished by a fresh rose.

The crowds are surprising.
Applause louder than the din of a jet.
People are happy.
They never have seen anything like this before.
A magician powerful as a mage.
A performance speaks for itself.

There, he bows,
Amidst the mist.
Vanishing into the abyss.
People are surprised.
Where does he leave?
But no one knows.

All of a sudden,
He appears behind the crowd,
Clapping his hands,
Laughing arrogantly.
He fetches a poker from his pocket.
It was a "seven".

He throws it forward.
It splinters into many pieces.
Falling like snowflakes.
He again says a word.
The pieces conjure themselves.
They form another poker card.

There, he bows.
He walks done the stage,
And disappears.

Villanelle: A Far Away Place

I passed through the grand gate.
A fancy castle on the way.
I am with my classmate.

Carry no weight,
I walked around a bay.
I passed through the grand gate.

I am here for no sake.
Back to history I may.
I am with my classmate.

My fate,
It carried me to Norway.
I passed through the grand gate.

Oh, I have lost all my hate.
Never dismay.
I am with my classmate.

At the age of eight,
I couldn't confidently say.
I passed through the grand gate.
I am with my classmate.

Ode: Mirror

I pertain to no transparency.
Look at me.
Some laugh, some cry.
At their beauty,
Or the aging wrinkle on their faces.
Clap your hands,
I shall applause.
Cry fiercely,
I too shall submerge myself in anguish.
You sing,
I imitate.
You hear one voice.
No echo.
Not even the strongest laser can break me.
Cause I return who you are.

Rondeau: In the Clouds.

I am a monkey.
I climb on a tree.
Raising my head,
I lie on a tree as my bed.
And, curl one knee.

The cloud above looks like a key,
From what I see,
Ahead.
The clouds look really like bottles of wines?

Its shape turns to a bee.
Swimming in a flower sea.
The sea is red.
The bee has said.
Let it be.
The clouds look really like bottles of wines.

Lyric - Changing Places

Entering city shrouded by heavy mist,
I saw a hut decorated with brown tiles.
The door was half open.
Spreading out the hush from the room.
On the ground lied a red uniform.
Begrimed with drops of blood and dirty sands.
My caution directed me into the room.
Inside, I saw nothing on the bed,
But a gruesome wolf.

Sapphic: Dance Performance

Like a swan,
Not a vulgar one.
Spinning like a van.
Believing that she won.
She stands on a can.
Her gaits are steadily done.
Her virtuosity transcends every man.
She did it behind her son.

Tera Rima: Pattern of School Life

Here I grow.
Submerge in the marine of knowledge.

Been here at my age.
I rise in the shadow,
Earning no wage.

Metered - Snail

Locked in a glass full of grasses so lonely,
A lodge very transparent.
It is the cell the anguish snail appertains.
Lavish food, small stream flowing.
No friends, no company, lying beneath sun.
It is freedom that he yearns.

Limerick - pirate ship.

A monstrous and murky ship.
Scary like a cracking whip.
Metal coving protects the crews.
It is a decoration that the pirate brews.
All of those only for one clip.

Minimalism - Wandering Merchant

His path embodies haven of yore.
Wandering with heavy merchandise.
Azure sky, verdant marshes.
Quench his thirst, devour none.
Serene, ubiquitously famished.
